Announcement: BigHorn Biltong gains new Partnership Agreement with England Deaf Rugby


We are absolutely thrilled to announce our new Partnership with England Deaf Rugby - Head Coach Sean Fletcher says "This is a fantastic opportunity for England Deaf players to benefit form one of the leading Biltong suppliers in the UK. Our players can only benefit from the opportunity to work closely with a fantastic company". We will be working extremely close with both the men and female squads to promote the benefit of healthy, high protein snacks. We have chosen to support two of the current men's squad, Graham Sage and Andrew Flook and additionally supply all the high protein snacks for the teams prior to fixtures as part of our partnership agreement - further details can be found here:

We are very pleased to announce our new partnership status with Middlesex County Cricket Club who play at Lord's - the Home of Cricket. By providing our Biltong snacks to all squad players on a home and away basis we are fully supporting the dietary needs of professional athletes/ cricketers in a whole-food high protein snack before, during and after the game. Throughout the summer our Biltong has been available to the players and we are thrilled that we have now achieved partnership status with MCCC

Biltong & Jerky Courses are Flying!......


Well we’ve had a busy first quarter of the year and it doesn’t seem like 2 minutes since we last wrote an update and yet that was almost 3 months ago! So what have we been up to? – Well suffice to say, we’ve kept ourselves busy in making Biltong – the new flavour has been warmly received and will be available at our Food Festivals and Farmers’ Markets. Talking of new flavours we are in the process of testing a new flavour – something hot and spicy and a little bit different, more details closer to launch date! Looking for a Day Out for a birthday or Fathers’ Day Gift idea? - Our Biltong & Jerky Classes are proving very popular now, we were fully booked for January, February and March. April is now almost full for a only a couple of spaces left for May – After May, we will bring a halt to the courses and then start again in September. We are looking forward to starting in earnest the Food Festival circuit again, Chester was great fun, unfortunately a little wet, but didn’t deter the families on a bank holiday weekend. We’ll be tweeting about where we are in due course….. Of course, don’t forget that you can always purchase our Biltong 30day Protein Packs online as well as satisifying any larger cravings with bag sizes up to 1Kg online….. January Update


Hi All.... Well who said January was to be a quiet month? - Certainly not for us here at BigHorn HQ! Just take a look at our Twitter & Facebook feeds! We've been very busy producing Biltong in readiness for some large orders we've had - 1 Pallet dispatched earlier this week and a large order for some intrepid British Army guys who are attempting a climb of the 7th highest Mountain in the World - Dhaulagiri, in Nepal.... We’ve attended our first Farmers’ Market of the year at Stroud, and will continue to do so for the rest of this year – Why not come and join us on 4th Saturday of every month? We launched our new flavour here in January – Our own honey and apple cider vinegar biltong – trust us…. It tastes, delicious! It’s of course Food Festival booking time and we’ve been busy deciding which ones we will be at this year…. Let us know if you’d like to see us at any new ones this year! November and the launch of our Organic Biltong Range


So after much conversation, research and discussions, we've decided to launch a range of Biltong using Organic Beef. We have chosen to use beef from Great Berwick Organics who having met on a number of occasions, ticked all the right boxes for us in terms of livestock management, free range lifestyle, no antibiotics and full traceability. Importantly, they are also local to us and always available to answer any questions! Hi all..... After a quiet few months, January & February with chance to recharge the batteries we started March on a very positive note. We are looking at numerous new projects, including new packaging design, new branding, new flavours, new marketing tools and lots of new offers for all our lovely customers!
